Manji John also known as JohnPraise is Nigerian contemporary Christian singer – song writer from Timjahas – Kerang in Mangu L.G.A of Plateau state Nigeria who has been very passionate about gospel music as he began singing at the age of 12 and started playing the drums from his early primary school days under the mentorship of Pst. Panden Samuel. He became a born- again Christian in his teenage years. He has two albums and many singles to his credit.
Manji John was born into a family of four, he grew up with three siblings, speaking of his parents, john attributes, his success to his parents’ support.
John Praise plays several musical instruments aside being a keyboardist and member of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria.
He attests that listening to songs by great gospel music ministers, including the likes of Frank Edwards, Tim Godfrey, Nathaniel Bassey, and his mentor Pastor Panden Samuels tends to lift up his soul and engrace him the more.
His first album (JESUS MY ONLY FATHER) was released in 2007 comprising 8 tracks while (CETO/SALVATION) his second album was released 2011 whilst another is in the offing.
JohnPraise obtained his Nigeria Certificate in Education N.C.E in computer science/cisco networking 2012, and holds a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from National Open University of Nigeria.
This spirit-filled minister has been in the singing ministry for over a decade now. He loves praising God wherever he finds himself as he believes that God is constantly working in his life to lead him to greater places.
